Our Policies

‍Our romantic, intimate hideaway is achieved by asking our guests to follow a few basic policies.

• Sorry but we are not able to accommodate children 9 yrs old and under.
• We do not allow pets, including service animals.
• No smoking is allowed. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a $200 cleaning fee.
• No loud parties.

Breakfast:

• Breakfast is served in our dining room or in our lake-view room at 9:00 am each morning (8:00 am on Sundays).
• Please let us know about any dietary concerns at check in. We will work with you.

Check-in and Check-out:

• We ask that guests arrive between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM (Central Time) to check in and receive a tour of the property.
  We can accommodate early check-ins (before 4pm) for $10 per hour. You will have access to all of the facility's public areas, the boats, bikes, etc. but your room may not be available until 4pm.
  We can also accommodate late check-ins (after 6pm) for $10 per hour (up to 9pm). If you need to arrive later than 9pm, please call us to make arrangements.
• We are a small, owner-operated B & B, so if you need to arrive late, please make arrangements in advance.
  Late check-ins (after 6pm) without prior arrangements will automatically be charged $10 per hour.  
  If you are delayed and will arrive late, please call to let us know.
• Check-out time is 10:30 AM (Central Time).
  We can accommodate late check-outs (after 10:30am) for $10 per hour. You will have access to all of the facility's public areas, the boats, bikes, etc. but your room will still need to be vacated by 10:30am.
• Exceptions may be made based on availability - please call in advance.

Booking, Payment and Cancellation Policies:

• Booking through the Book Now button on our website ensures the best rates and most flexible cancellation policies.
• We accept major credit and debit cards, cash, checks and gift certificates (only those issued by Leech Lake Resort Bed & Breakfast).
• If you book directly with us and pay your balance at check-in using cash or check, you can receive a 3% discount off of your stay.
• A two-night minimum is required for Friday or Saturday reservations (except when only one night is available in our calendar). Exceptions may be made five days prior to the weekend. Please call.
• We require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your reservation. At check-in, this amount is applied to your stay.
• If you have to cancel your stay, your non-refundable deposit can be applied to a future stay. Just save your paperwork showing your payment, and book your next stay directly through our website using the Book Now button.
• Because of the small size of our bed and breakfast, cancellations affect us significantly. As a result, cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice will be charged in full to your credit card.
• If you have booked a stay through Airbnb, Booking.com, or Expedia (including Travelocity, Hotels.com, etc.), please make any cancellations or changes through those websites to ensure proper refunds as per their policies. We are not able to directly cancel those reservations for you.
• Leech Lake Resort B&B is not responsible for unused rooms due to late or canceled airline flights, travel-related mishaps, threats of bad weather, or changes in plans that shorten your stay. Travel Insurance is available to inexpensively protect you against last-minute cancellations due to emergencies. We recommend Travel Guard.
